Born in Mexico, Taeko Nomiya grew up in a house where taking pictures was a reflex reaction.

She learned to see things from parallel perspectives: that of her Japanese parents and that of her birthplace. Her trademark double-exposure photographs let us into a world she has always seen through two lenses.
